Brian Barber, President Pro-Tem, Ward A - (330)
467-5561: Mr. Barber lives on Fell Avenue
with his wife and two daughters. He was elected to Council in
2005 to fill the seat formerly held by Mark Apana. A Village
resident since he was a child, he works as a
warehouse supervisor for Ben Venue Laboratories in Bedford.
Brian is a member of the Northfield Moose Lodge. He has
promised to keep residents informed by meeting with them
often. Road and property maintenance are high on his list of
priorities. He chairs Council’s Wages and Working
Conditions Committee and is also a member of the Finance and
Roads and Public Works Committes.

Chuck
Lewis, Ward D

Mr. Lewis lives on Filly Lane with his wife and one child. He was elected in
2005 to fill the Council seat held by Roy Thompson since
1999. On Dec. 1, 2007 he was elected as Council President.
The owner/proprietor of Final Touch Landscaping, he is committed to
improving the appearance of the Village and its parks. Chuck
is
an avid amateur bowler. He chairs Council's Fire and Safety Committee and serves on the Roads and Public Works and Health and Welfare Committee.

Jesse
Nehez, Ward B - (330) 468-7784:
Also elected in 2005, Jesse replaces longtime Council member John
(J.C.) Sullivan, who served on Council from 1997 to 2005. A
graduate of the Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute
and a Coventry Drive resident, Jesse works as a groundskeeper at
Western Reserve Academy and has volunteered his time to do landscaping
and holiday decorating for the Village since 1999. An outdoor
enthusiast, Jesse enjoys hiking, camping, and skiing. He
heads
Council’s Building and Grounds committee and serves on Health and Welfare and Fire and Safety.

Lennie
Noack, Ward C - (330)
468-3086: Lennie
Noack is the newest member of Council. He took office on December 1,
2006 to complete the unexpired term of former Councilman Peter
Stewart. He was re-elected to a seat in November 2007. A 12-year resident
of the Village, Lennie lives at 307 Ledge Rd. with his wife Renell and
daughters Stacey and Lynn. He
is a customer service supervisor at Adelphia/Time-Warner Cable, where he has
been employed for 18 years. Lennie is a past commander of VFW
Post 6768 in Northfield Center. He enjoys
bowling
and fishing in his spare time, and his favorite pro team is the Oakland
Raiders. Lennie heads Council's Roads and Public Works Committee and also serves on Finance and Wages and Working.

Beatrice
Greenlee, Councilperson At-Large,
(330) 467- 8988: Mrs. Greenlee is Council's longest standing member, having served for 10 years. She is very knowledgable about the workings of Council and local government. “Bea” heads
Council’s Finance Committee and also serves on Building and Grounds
and Fire and Safety. A longtime resident of McKinley
Avenue, Mrs. Greenlee is committed to the continued growth and progress
of the Village, while maintaining its small town atmosphere.

| Linda
Bowen, Councilperson At-Large - (330) 467-7496:
Mrs. Bowen was elected to Council in December, 1999. She
lives
with her husband and young son on Houghton Road. She heads
Council’s Health and Welfare Committee and is also a member of
Buildings and Grounds and Wages and Working Conditions. She was instrumental in working
on grants for park projects and seeing that they were implemented. |
