The Village of Northfield Council Mission Statement:
The mission of Northfield Village Council is to abide by the Charter of the Municipality, to ensure the safety, peace,
health and welfare of the Village and to exercise all the powers of
local government under the Constitution and laws of the State of Ohio.

Beatrice Greenlee

Mrs. Greenlee is Council's longest standing member, having served for 10 years. She is very knowledgeable about the workings of Council and local government. “Bea” heads Council’s Fire and Safety Committee and also serves on Building and Grounds and Finance. A long-time resident of McKinley Avenue, Mrs. Greenlee is committed to the continued growth and progress of the Village, while maintaining its small town atmosphere.

Karyn Selle

Mrs. Selle lives on Roosevelt Drive with her husband. Karyn received her B.S. in Geology from the State University of New York College at Fredonia. She is a Project Manager at an environmental consulting firm in Bedford. She chairs Council’s Roads and Public Works and serves on both Health and Welfare and Fire and Safety Committees. Karyn looks forward to hearing ideas from residents on how to make Northfield Village an even better place to call home.

Mary Volny lives on Cranbrook Drive with her husband, Dan and their two golden retrievers. She grew up on Brandywine Road in Sagamore Hills, attended St. Barnabas and is a proud alumni from Nordonia graduating class of 1979. She graduated from Baldwin Wallace College with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Human Resources. Mary works as an accountant at Boatfield & Associates LLC a CPA firm in Copley Ohio. Mary heads the Health & Welfare Committee and serves on Buildings & Grounds and Roads & Public Works Committees. Mary wants to be a voice for those who live in her ward and assist residents in any way she can.

John Schlueter

Mr. Schlueter received his Master’s Degree in Christian ministries from Lincoln Christian University. He and his wife Carol have been residence of Northfield since October 1995. Mr. Schlueter has been the minister of the Walton Hills Church of Christ during this time. He has been involved with churches and communities for 44 years. He enjoys living in the Village of Northfield and desires to preserve its traditions and community values while embracing the future.
Mr. Schlueter heads Council's Wages & Working Committee and also serves on the Finance and Health & Welfare Committees.

Linda Bowen

Mrs. Bowen was elected to Council in December, 1999. She lives with her husband and son on Houghton Road. She heads Council’s Finance Committee and is also a member of Fire and Safety and Wages and Working Committees. She was instrumental in working on grants for park projects and seeing that they were implemented.
