Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Recycling:

Summit County residents now have a solution for proper recycling of household hazardous waste (HHW).  Each year from April 1st till the end of September, residents can dispose/recycle HHW at the Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Center, located at the Graham Road/Route 8 exit next door to Carter Lumber.  The center at 1201 Graham Road in Stow is open on Tuesdays from 1:00 to 4:00 PM and Wednesdays from 6:30 to 10:00 PM.
There is no charge for acceptable materials.

The process is quick and convenient.
Simply place your HHW items in cardboard boxes,
making sure all lids are secure.
Then transport your materials to the Recycling Center where technicians will be on hand to remove the materials from your car or truck for you.
Please note: This facility is not for business use.

By ridding your home of these potentially harmful materials, you and your family will be safer.  By bringing them to the Recycling Center, you can be assured they will be handled and disposed of properly.
